Changing the position of the body
This interesting memory game for children focuses on one's own body, altering the position of the arms or legs, folding fingers in or out, or changing the facial expression. Begin by standing upright and adopting a certain posture, for example stretching out your left hand and tilting your head to the right. The child observes your posture attentively. Then the child turns around while you make a small change to your posture, for example by holding out your right hand instead of your left hand. When the child turns back to you, it tries to recognize what has changed and names the changed body position. In addition to memory, this game also supports the ability to recognize the smallest differences through close observation. You then swap roles and the child puts your observation skills to the test. Praising children makes them feel valued and encouraged. This promotes the development of a positive self-image and their ability to overcome challenges.
